Prevent is a government strategy designed to stop people becoming terrorists or supporting terrorist or extremist causes.

Internet Safety

Children using social media platforms are often doing so with their settings set to 'Public'. This means that that their profiles can be seen by anyone using that app. Whilst most social media apps are for children 13+, we do recognise that some children in our school are using them and if their account is set to public, they are vulnerable. If your child is using social media platforms, please check that your children's accounts are set to 'Private'. This means that only people they accept will be able to make contact with them. Children should only be accepting invites/requests from others that they know.
