It has been lovely welcoming the children back for another exciting half term! In Maths, we have enjoyed lots of practical activities based around measuring, learning to measure items accurately using rulers and metre rules and combining different units of measurement. In DT, we have introduced our exciting new project of sewing pillows, which the children are already looking forward to exploring! History is set to be fantastic this half term as we begin our journey into Ancient Greece. This week, we introduced some key events from the era and explored how to place them in chronological order. In RE, we have started our new topic, 'What is the Trinity?', exploring religious artwork and the meaning behind it, including the symbolism of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Finally, in Art, the children experimented with different rolling and coiling techniques to create a collage-effect Greek temple. What a fantastic start to the half term!
